8 ounces elbow macaroni
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup milk
1/2 cup cream
4 ounces turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
Add milk and cream, whisking constantly until smooth and thickened.
Stir in cheese until melted. Add garlic powder and mix well.
Combine the cheese sauce with the macaroni and turkey bacon. Stir until well coated.
Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes until golden.
Notes
