8 ounces elbow macaroni
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Cook macaroni according to package instructions; drain.
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
Gradually whisk in milk, cooking until thickened.
Remove from heat and stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
Add cooked macaroni and turkey bacon to cheese sauce; mix well.
Transfer to a baking dish, top with breadcrumbs.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
