  • 1 pound chicken thighs
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté the onions and garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken thighs, season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Brown the chicken on both sides.
  4. Stir in the rice and mix well.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20-25 minutes until rice is cooked.
  7. Stir in the frozen peas and crumbled turkey bacon before serving.

  • For added flavor, marinate the chicken in spices before cooking.
