  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the flour, creating a roux.
  3. Add chicken broth and milk slowly, stirring continuously until thickened.
  4. Mix in the cooked chicken, mixed vegetables, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  5. Pour the filling into the pie crust and cover with another pie crust.
  6. Cut slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
