  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 package refrigerated biscuit dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook until soft.
  3. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder; cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add chicken broth and milk, stir until the sauce thickens.
  5. Mix in chicken and peas and carrots.
  6. Pour the chicken mixture into a baking dish.
  7. Place the biscuits on top of the mixture.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until biscuits are golden brown.
