A deliciously creamy dessert combining the flavors of cherry and amaretto.

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup amaretto liqueur
  • 2 cups brewed coffee, cooled
  • 1 1/2 cups ladyfinger cookies
  • 1 cup cherries, pitted and halved

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Fold in the amaretto liqueur.
  3. Dip ladyfingers in the cooled coffee, coating them briefly.
  4. Layer the dipped ladyfingers in a dish.
  5. Spread a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  6. Add a layer of cherries on top.
  7. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with the mascarpone mixture.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

Notes

  • For a stronger cherry flavor, consider adding cherry juice to the coffee.
  • Allowing the tiramisu to chill overnight enhances the flavor.
