  • 4 pounds beef short ribs
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 inches ginger, sliced
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Place the short ribs in a roasting pan and pour the sauce over them, ensuring they are well-coated.
  4. Cover the pan tightly with foil and roast in the preheated oven for 3 hours.
  5. After 3 hours, remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C). Roast for an additional 30 minutes, basting occasionally.
  6. Once caramelized and tender, remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

  • For extra flavor, marinate the ribs overnight in the sauce.
